The Downing Museum submissions for Feast YOUR Eyes: The Art of Food, open to the public June 6 – July 22, 2023. This exhibition will be held in conjunction with the Duncan Hines Days Festival in Bowling Green, KY (June 5-11). All works of art that meet the guidelines below will be considered. Important Dates: Electronic submissions due: May 26, 2023 Artists notified of selections: May 28 Drop off: June 1-3 Exhibition: June 6 – July 22, 2023 Pick up: July 25-29 Image Submission Guidelines: Images should be catalog-ready and high-resolution (at least 5inches wide (1500px), and at least 300dpi). Images of 2D work should be cropped as close to the edge of the image as possible. Images of 3D work should be taken with a white or neutral background, if possible. Images must be saves as a standard .jpg, .png, or .tif image. PLEASE NO .IMG, HEIF, .PAGES, OR HEVC IMAGES (apple devices). Images should be sent with entry form. If your image is too large to send in standard email (typically above 20MB), please use wetransfer.com (jacklesieur@jerryebakerfoundation.org) to send your images.
