Duncan Hines Day at Russell Sims Waterpark
Make a splash at Russell Sims Waterpark, a favorite returning event that welcomed over 1,200 guests last year. Dive in, cool off, and celebrate Duncan Hines Days with family fun!

Pickleball Palooza at Roland Bland Park
Swing into action at our pickleball workshop and open play! Last year’s event brought out 100 enthusiasts—grab your paddles and meet new friends.
Dolly Parton-themed Buti Yoga with Craig Lonas
Stretch, groove, and find your rhythm at this playful yoga session, complete with Dolly Parton vibes. Thirty yogis enjoyed this quirky class last year; bring your best moves and join the fun!
Uncle Duncan’s Summer Stroll & Roll Parade & Community Ice Cream Social
Walk, bike, skate—but leave the motors at home! This community favorite event, attended by over 2,000 participants in 2024, kicks off from Downtown and ends sweetly at the BG Ballpark Plaza with ice cream trucks and family-friendly festivities.
Duncan’s Duck Paddle Race & Regatta on Drakes Creek
Canoe, kayak, or float your way from Romanza Johnson Park to Phil Moore Park! With 200 adventurers last year, this leisurely paddle down Drakes Creek is sure to be a highlight of your weekend.
