We hope you will come make yourself at home in Logan County, Kentucky–driving like Duncan, just a few miles south of Bowling Green down Highway 68/80. We have so much excitement to offer the traveler! During the week of June 5-11, we have several things going on!
Get off the beaten path and stop for an amazing tasting experience at Carriage House Vineyards in Auburn, then whet your whistle some more and travel across the county to B.H. James Distillers in downtown Adairville.
If you enjoy a great outdoor adventure, then come for a kayaking trip down Red River with Country Kayak Rentals, visit Lake Malone to boat and fish, or take a hike at the Baker Natural Area Trail. You can always stop by Rolling Hills Golf Course for some recreational fun.
We have South Union Shaker Village, The Red River Meeting House and The SEEK (Struggles for Emancipation and Equality in Kentucky) Museum if you would like to travel back in time thru history–so many unique stories about southern Kentucky’s past live in these museums and interactive exhibits.
On Saturday, June 10, you can have your choice of two awesome events. There’s a Summer Nights Cruise In @ the Carrico Park Square in downtown Russellville from 5-8PM with food, music, and a car show. Just a few miles down the road will be Auburn’s “Party on the Square” Summer Concert Series from 7-10PM with Tyrone Dunn & Kin-Foke playing live music. Bring your chair for this free event and enjoy the food trucks too.
You’ll be surprised at all the wonderfully delicious restaurants to choose from while you are here. Ariella’s Restaurant just off the Russellville Square is featured in Restaurant Week for Duncan Hines Days! As you plan where to spend the night, look no further. We have the number one Econolodge in the nation right here in Russellville, not to mention quaint B & B’s and cabin rentals.
For an amazing RV or Camping experience, you will not want to miss out on Wildfoot Outdoor Resort in Lewisburg. We want you to stop in at Logan County when you come thru southern Kentucky for Duncan Hines Days – make it an annual tradition! Bring your friends and plan to come back again!
